Cheeses

Shavings of this delicious French cheese - a stronger version of gruyere, just has an affinity with our Cabernets. (French cheese and our Cabernet Alex ~ bliss!)

And it's good to drink an aged Cabernet in winter, all those wonderful savoury cedary and cigar box smells, (Dad used to smoke his beloved cigars so our family is very acquainted with such smells.)

Italian Piave

Best served with Bloodwood's 2012 Pinot Noir*  *New

Brush table cloth.

Also pop a quick load in the dishwasher while you unwrap dessert and the guests are otherwise occupied with cheese and fine Pinot Noir.

This Australian cheddar is great with a number of reds.

Serve with Bloodwood 2009 Maurice, our special red blend.

A beautiful cheese, one of the best.

The rind is usually a dusty-brown colour, and the internal pâte is a pale creamy yellow. The texture is relatively hard and flexible, and the taste is strong and slightly sweet.

Delicious served with Bloodwood 2009 Maurice.
